We are currently looking for ‘Timber Manufacturing Assistants’ to work in a local sawmill.
The roles may involve machine operation, manual handling, heavy lifting, fileting, wrapping, strapping and stacking timber. We also have roles for Timber machinists and Forklift operators.
We have both day and night shifts, weekdays and weekends available.
Ideal applicants will:
• Be interested in the timber industry.
• Be highly motivated with a proven track record of attendance and work ethic
• Relate well to other staff and be a good team player
• Be fit and able to handle physical work
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be health & safety conscious
In line with our client's objective of providing a drugs-free site, the successful applicant will agree to participate in the company's drug testing program and undergo pre-employment drug screening.
